The B&B accommodation is in the 400 year old, Grade II listed barn, whilst the Blacksmith's Cottage offers 2 bedroomed luxury self catering accommodation. The properties are set in the protected landscape of the Forest of Bowland, a national area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB).

Roughlee is a delightful hamlet set alongside the gentle stream of Pendle Water and one of three lovely villages sitting at the foot of Pendle Hill. Pendle Hill towers 1,831ft above the region and used to be a beacon hill at the time of the Spanish Armada, and is now a magnet for walkers and cyclists.
The local area is excellent for a variety of tastes and interests - historic market towns, canals, art galleries, museums and a treasure trove for shopping. Barrowford offers small shops specialising in designer shoes and clothes and there is a whole array of mill shops on the doorstep. The choice of places to eat in Pendle is enormous, from excellent traditional pubs to Michelin Star restaurants.
